I'm checking out widgetbucks right now I've had a quick play around with the widget which you can customise to suit. Widgets have a range of sizes & colours. You can choose from different categories & sub categories as well. Earn money each time someone clicks on the widget ad on your site, (pay-per-click)

I've been checking out the new blogger play its amazing. I could take a snap right now and upload it to my blog and the rest of the world well those that are tuned into blogger play a second or so after I am done will be viewing it.

sure beats Next Blog» or similar You can click for more info if an image catches your eye. I saw some beautiful six week old puppies clicked through to the blog and saw from day 1 of their short life.

Shortly after Blogger launched photo uploading two years ago, one of our engineers whipped up a web page that would show us the pictures that were being uploaded in real time. The result was fun, often beautiful, but above all, compelling. We couldn’t stop watching.

Over the years we’ve kept this photo scroller as part of the Blogger offices, on a monitor or projector, as an interesting (distracting?) slideshow, and a reminder of the diversity and vivaciousness of Blogger blogs. Most of you would be familiar with Leo from Drunksworld.com well he has launched a new blog IdiotAffiliate.com One word "Wow" does this guy know how to write or what. I was already a major fan of Drunksworld but this blog is geared more towards the direction I would love to head myself.

Do yourself a giant favor and bookmark it now. Leo has already built up a wealth of articles aimed at helping the new blogger or webmaster. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that feels the Hyip/As arena has lost its sparkle which means blogging is appealing to me more and more. "Blogging for Money" that too definately.

All you need is access to a computer so you can keep your Aussie 2 cents or equivalent right where it is in your pocket. Blogging costs you zilch I know some of the many experts out there will tell you that having your own domain is a must but how do you define who is an expert in the first place? If you google some of the lists of top blogs you will see that this is far from the case. There is all sorts of blogs out there and all sorts of reasons why people blog.

Naming Your Blog

Google tell us there is 1,160,000,000 results for the word blog. 382,000,000 for blog for money. 40,600 for the phrase "blog for money" and 68,300,000 for the search word blogging

Ok I have blogged a little but not with the idea of Blogging for money so this is a whole new learning curb for me. There is a wealth of articles on blogging out there so I'm going to just set out educating myself and see how I go.

Naming your blog well according to Elliott Back at Internets most infamous who wrote that after some studying popular words used in blog names it led him to conclude

that any blog named, “My blog/journal/weblog with daily world news and thoughts from life!” will be a smash hit.

The top ten were

1. blog - 9.986%
2. life - 2.619%
3. weblog - 1.841%
4. world - 1.296%
5. from - 1.226%
6. journal - 1.139%
7. news - 1.087%
8. thoughts - 1.039%
9. with - 0.670%
10. daily - 0.660%

So I took all ten top words and gave it my own shot but well it was very weighty looking name and not one bit catchy. Check it out

I have settled for "Blog that a Way" and hope to stay on track with that. It should be fine if noone pulls me to the south west left or middle of the bermuda triangle. I am erring more towards the thought that you should go with something that hasn't been chosen by nearly every second blogger out there as a blog name. That would be something NOT in the top ten most popular names. After all it will be hard to find yours buried amongst all those search results.

Maybe I'll name my next one ThreeRingClownsBlogSpace.
